Not that I can see. I have had an iNum with them for a long time now and have never been charged anything for incoming calls on that.TheHardy wrote:Any catch that you could see on those, Jake, or no hidden fine print?
The only thing is - I set up a number about an hour ago, but calls do not go through as yet. I would have thought it was all pretty much automated, and I can see the new number in my account and I also got an email to say what the number was and the charge (0.00$). Maybe it takes a while to set up
I'll test again tomorrow and see if it works, if not I will send a support ticket.

I believe it says you can only do Sip to SIP between CC customers on that particular free plan? Is that what you tried?

Re: Free NY DID
Isn't that the ip-freedom package? They have just added the free NY DIDs which should act as normal phone numbers. It gave me a 631-402-xxxx number. Their CC numbers are 1777 numbers so it should be a normal NY number. For some reason though it does not hook through to my account.CSCO wrote:I believe it says you can only do Sip to SIP between CC customers on that particular free plan? Is that what you tried?

Re: Free NY DID
What is the 911 Cost Recovery Fee?
A setup fee of $1.50 and a monthly fee of $1.50 apply to each Callcentric account requiring 911 service. These fees are used to recover costs directly associated with developing, implementing and maintaining 911 service in compliance with FCC regulations in the US, and CRTC regulations in Canada.
Th $1.50 monthly fee is included in the costs for the following outgoing services:
North America 500
North America 100
North America Residential
World Select Residential
If you only have an incoming service you would be billed at $1.50 per month for 911. If you added one of the above outgoing plans the 911 fee would be included in the monthly price for the selected outgoing plan.
