Recently I am getting this message more often when trying to make a call " This account is in already in use, please call customer service if you believe this in an error ....."
I am also seing a strange problem with freephone line, when you disconnect the call it does not get disconnected. When you dial the new number it connects back to the previous/ original call. This is really strange and annoying. I have restarted my ATA, number of times but it did not help. Is this an ATA fault or something else is happening
Please advise.

Anybody experiencing the same issue ?

Both your problems appear to be related :) We only allow two separate channels, and when they're both in use you'll get the "account is in use" error. Since you mention your calls aren't disconnecting properly, that would be what's causing the channels to stay in use and you to hear the error when you try to make a call.

Was the HT-286 ATA purchased and configured by us here at Fongo? Are you able to try connecting the ATA directly to your modem (bypassing the router) and seeing if that makes any difference? I'm suspecting that something in the router might be what's causing these calls to not properly disconnect - if we can narrow it down then we can do some troubleshooting/tweaking to the router configuration.
