Hey,

Took the plunge and purchased the Fongo Home Phone - got it, plugged it in, and presto! It works! Thanks Fongo.

However, the information I recieved in the confirmation email does not seem to work, thus, I am unable to "tweek" my account. It appears that the username and password that was provided is not recognized. Is there something I'm missing?

Any help would be greatly apprciated.

Case like this your BEST and FASTEST bet is to call into the Customer Support number and speak to a real live Fongo rep directly!

Hey Hardy,

I did that regarding an out going problem, and customer support mended that in a jiffy! I was told to call them back to update them on the situation, so I will, and at that time, I will follow your suggesting regarding logging onto my acount.

So far, I am loving the Fongo home phone! Clear reception and great service. Oh yeah, all the free long distance cities one can reach!

Excellent --- replied to your post in the other thread on this already ...

The price is unbeatable, the customer support is generally good over the phone and GREAT (albeit "closed" on weekends) here in the forum (officially) and the peer-to-peer support is very good as there is a really good core of people in the forums! The actual platform itself I would rate myself at 7/10, as there is room for improvement, especially on known bugs. The new BB app is 3/10 if that high, as it is buggier than the others ... but they are trying, and it is an overall free service.

That is one of the reasons that I put in the time and effort to make the posts and make the suggestions to try to help them improve too! :-)

I have notice that you respond to numerous posts and are always willing to help. I've looked into voip phones in the past, but didn't risk spending funds for fear that they would go under, and I would be without service. However, Fongo appears to be a much more stable company, and when I was actually able to speek to a rep, I took the "plunge". It's only been a short while since I recieved my home phone modem, but I can honestly say, the service has been great!
