Unable to make a call

Hi , I was using Dell Voice desktop ver. for awhile. About a month didn't use it & now the number is invalid . Although can log into my account see my number which was given to me by you. The dial pad doesn't work . But it works on my laptop . Uninstall , install it again. Registered again , still doesn't work. Got a different number still won't work.

The dialpad not working issue is a known interaction with the latest version of Java --- see the thread dedicated to that for the answer and how to roll back your Java version. A quick alternative is to enter the CONTACT menu, enter the information and use THAT to dial out.

If you can log in to your account, and see the #, then the account is not deleted, and should work normally --- if it does not, then there is a glitch with your account and that will require a call to customer support to rectify!

TheHardy , thanks for steering me into the right direction. Yes it was a Java . Checked the laptop version & installed that one . Had to go back all the way to Java ver. 6 update 31 to work. Tried to call & it works Thanks again Steve.

Not a problem ... I have been asking Fongo to update the FAQ with this information due to the problem persisting ... and also the fact that there are LOTS of inqueries in the forums on this topic, and my keyboard is wearing out prematurely! ;-)

Happy to have been able to help, even if it was a bandaid solution!

I have tried everything from uninstalling three times and going back and installing older java version nothing!! Still unable to make calls and it is not working has anyone found a solution yet, this is very frustrating!! If their desktop app was any good it would not do this.
