Calls to contacts gets error message
When I call a contact I get "this call is not covered by your terus plan", but when I dial the number manually it goes through.

2nd of all, please check to make sure that the number is IDENTICAL (ie: 10D or 11D) and that there are no punctuation errors (+1 before #), or hyphens, periods, spaces etc.
It is very odd if your numbers are identical and one works from direct entry and the other from the contacts does not.
Try either editting the entry, or removing it and adding it again, making sure that you add it EXACTLY as you are entering it manually.
Report back and let us know if it still exists!

Re: Calls to contacts gets error message
Ha! Thanks for the correction (TARIFF).
The issue with dialing a contact is strange. I'm using an iPhone 3GS and my contact list is synched from my Google account. When I dial a contact I get the error message, but when I manually dial it works fine. Also, if I create a new contact or edit an existing one in the DELL app (even replacing the existing number with exactly the same one) then dial the contact it also works. It's almost like the contact that is in the iPhone list has a bogus invisible character in the phone number or something.
I've noticed that the DELL app auto-formats the phone number, whereas in google contacts the parentheses etc. are input manually. Could that be it?

Yeah, that's it. Removing all special characters from phone numbers in my google contacts fixes the problem.

The _ONLY_ character that Fongo apps will allow is a hyphen, and if that is in HIGH ASCII even that fails .... strip out all formatting whatsoever so you have just plain numbers and that will work correctly. The parenthesis cause a fail ...
Wanna experiment? Load up the PC softphone app and generate errors and failures by adding the formatting characters!

You will lose the SYNCH ability unless you edit, or if you can change the default formatting of it to strip out the ( ) 's .... formatting it as: 1-npa-nxx-yyyy works OK with Fongo, as I say, as long as they are regular "-" 's ....
