Hi all, I just downloaded and installed Dell Voice Desktop 1.1.1. The application does not work at all.
When I use the dialpad to try to dial a number, and key in the number, it doesn't show, and nothing happens.
I've also tried the 'Test Connection' feature and it doesn't work, either. It just endlessly loops and basically does
nothing.
I've tried reinstalling Dell Voice to no avail. I'm using Windows 7 Professional, 64-bit version and a USB headset.
My conclusion is that Dell Voice is a nice concept on the surface, but in actual practice is simply junk. I've wasted an
hour of my time trying to get it to work - an hour of my life that I will never get back. Grrr.
I downloaded the desktop version and created a new account after discovering that when setting up Dell Voice using
an iOS device, I cannot use Dell Voice with my desktop computer thanks to restrictions imposed by Apple. Thanks, Apple! You've just
put me one step closer to deciding that my next mobile phone an Android or Windows Mobile device!!

I gather that there is a problem with the current version of Java and the PC versions of DellVoice. See this link
