X Server Comunication Error Occured! Please Restart the application

This happens when I try to log in to my wife's freephoneline account using the softphone. I am able to log in to my account with the softphone. I recently updated the softphone with the auto update but I do not think that is the problem. The reason why I am trying to log in is because I can not connect when I call her number. I wait for about 45 seconds and it goes to voice mail, no ring. So I tried to log in the softphone with no luck. We each have a FPL number with each it's own ATA provided by FPL however when I log in to the softphone I accept the terms of use and it crashes

So to update - this issue only occurs with the latest version of the software. When I loaded FPL program on an old latop I decline the update and I am able to use the software. Please fix this

I've been getting this error ever since I installed the software on Windows Vista 32 bits, while FPL is working fine on my XP machine. Can you guys post a fix or at least an older, Vista compatible version of the software?

The softphone is tested as vista x86 and x64 compatible, it should work in Windows 7 32-bit with the latest Java installation too. Windows 7 64-bit is currently untested.

In regards to the OPs question, I'll need to get someone to give that a second look because I can't think of what would cause that off hand

I don't understand... I rebooted my system, made sure I have the latest Java update installed, even reinstalled the whole thing, and I still get the Server Communication Error which causes the client to crash automatically. Would you have any tips or advice?
