Hello
Is it possible to Port out a FPL phone number? I heard if you port in a number to Free Phone Line once you decide to leave it is possible to port it out to another company, however I wonder what about porting a FPL owned phone number to other company.
Cheers,
Porting Out a Freephoneline phone number

This has come up before, and the answer is yes, you can sign up for a free Fongo number, then port it out to another company.
I think due to the regulations Fongo is bound by, they can't stop you from porting out. So yes, it is possible.

As Jake said, as a registered Canadian CLEC, Fongo must allow you to port out --- the issue becomes your NEW carrier --- several require PROOF of ownership of the number, such as your last statement/invoice --- because Fongo products are FREE, this can become an issue for SOME carriers. The best advice is to take a screen print of the account page when you log in that shows your number as well as the one that has your personal registration info on it (I am unsure if both show up on the same page) ...
Check with your potential new carrier to see what requirements they have to prove ownership of the number to allow you to port it in!
And --- if you can, report back here with what you find out, and then update us also as to how your process went .... thanks in advance!

Moving this topic to a more appropriate forum as it doesn't relate to the Bud Mobile app.
