Can't enter city and province during registration
During the account registration process for Dell Voice I am unable to specify my city and province in Canada. I am unable to type in the City field even though I can type in the all the other fields except Province. The Province field has a drop-down list of Canadian provinces but they are all greyed out.

Re: Can't enter city and province during registration
Can you clarify if you're trying to register via a mobile device or through a desktop PC on the dellvoice.ca website? Also, have you tried another browser? I can't seem to be able to duplicate this on my end using my laptop on the website sign-up page.

I am attempting to complete the registration using a desktop PC running Windows Vista and Firefox 15.0.1 at webpage https://www.dellvoice.ca/registerDesktopAccountStepOne. I get the same results with IE 8.

Phone call to support
Steve, your “signature message” says “Please remember for urgent issues to always call support before PMing us“ but when I called support the voice menu said I should visit the website.

Now able to complete registration
I tried again using a friend’s PC running Windows 7 Home Premium. I tried both using Firefox 15.0.1 and IE 9.0.8112.16421 and had the same problem. In order to reproduce the problem quickly I just tried to enter the city and the province and was unable to. Then I decided to see if the problem was related to the order in which I entered things. I filled in my name and postal code and found that the street, city and province were filled in automatically once I entered the postal code. This was not the behaviour I had when I first had the problem - at that time I filled out the fields one by one and nothing was filled in for me. Furthermore I noticed that I could not change the pre-populated city and province. I continued and completed the registration.
I did another check out of curiosity which may help. At the time I had the original problem I took some screen shots of the problems. I went back and looked at the screen shots and verified that I had entered my correct postal code. However I did notice that there was no space between the two parts of the postal code in the screen shot whereas when I completed the registration today it accepted my postal code in two parts. I’ve attached the screen shot.

Kudos to you!
Re: the call in and get referred to the website ... this is an ONGOING issue, and as Mike has stated -- the forums are an UNOFFICIAL means of support ... but it is becoming more and more so ... they just need to come along to this way of thinking!
