downloaded Desktop DV today but I don't get v.1.4.

Mike or any DellVoice staff,

I am currently using Dell Voice version 1.1.1.0 on my Windows 7 desktop PC. Today, Sept. 21, 2012, I went to http://www.dellvoice.ca/systemRequirements and clicked on the Desktop Download button at the bottom of the page (http://media.fongo.com/downloads/dellvo ... -Setup.exe). I then double-clicked the program, made it remove the current version on my computer. Then I ran the program again and made it install Dell Voice. But when I run Dell Voice, it's telling me I still have 1.1.1.0!

What's wrong?

Please help.

This came up last time they announced an update. The update is just for the mobile apps, not the desktop app.

Last time they said they would clearly state which the announcement was for, but I guess in all the excitement it got forgotten.

So sorry, right now there is no update on the desktop app, just the mobile apps.

DellVoice Staff, please include the version number or a date into the installation file (example: DellWindowsInstallerv20120431.exe) so that people don't spend 30 minutes downloading the same file.

In releasing v1.4, it was under the belief that as 1.3 was out, it would be taken as the mobile app since the desktop client is on v1.1.

We appologize for any missunderstandings (and i will now edit the post to reflect it is the mobile app.

Can we also get CURRENT version numbers posted on the downloads page, so that we can TELL when we should be downloading an update?

And as an aside in this post, ARE there any plans afoot for updating the DV (and FPL) desktop applications in the near/foreseeable future??
