Dell Voice stopped working on PC since 1.4 release

Hi,

Dell Voice stopped working 3 days ago. This happened when the new 1.4 version was released for smartphones and tablets. Is there a new version for PCs? The previous version 1.1.1 doesn't work anymore. I have confirmed this with three co-workers and on my 3 computers.
While it does dial (and makes tones), there is no audio.

All this happened once the new smartphone version were released. Note, this are not the problems:
- we have JAVA 6 as we know JAVA 7 messes up the dialpad
- the audio works perfectly in all other apps including Skype so it is not an audio setting
- tried to re-download and re-install, same thing
- fresh install on newly format computer -> same thing
- it used to dial and the other end could connect, but there was no sound. Today, there is not even any ringing on the other end.
- the Dell Voice test connection shows things are fine.

It is probably the new codec that uses half the data as compared to the previous v1.1.1.
Previously, v1.1.1 used 1M / minute, the new 1.4 version used 0.5M / minute.

Will there be an upgrade for PCs? If so, when?
