It has been stated in previous threads that there was/is limited support for 311 and 211 service.
Vancouver _WAS_ one of the locations that had 311 support. That changed some months ago, and the calls from a Vancouver # to 311 now come up as not included in tariff.
211 was never fully implemented, but did work intermittantly.
Dialing 211 from a Vancouver # now yields some ANI readback service. Whether or not 211 is implemented or not (as per Fongo policy), routing it to an ANI readback service is wrong regardless....
Call logs show this as "automatic number announcement circuit (ANAC)" with a # of 416-477-0034 (although dialed as 211).

ANI readback/ANAC
Okay, so following my post I did a quick test....
The ANAC/ANI readback number is "outside" dialable ...
2 quick tests
From a blocked #, the ANAC annoucement is correct, as it is from an unblocked #.
HOWEVER
if forwarded via FOLLOW-ME through a FPL/DV number...
unblocked numbers correctly read back the original #
BLOCKED numbers read back the FPL/DV number used to FWD to the ANAC # ...
Odd behavior for an ANAC number ...
Interesting enough that the ANAC number seems to be an internal Fibernetics one .... perhaps something is not quite set up right at that end? Also presents an interesting notion on Follow-Me #'s insofar as using them to call from blocked #'s presents the FPL/DV number ... ???
I also referenced this in another post concerning PILOT numbers, in which calls placed from blocked #s to Follow-Me'd #'s yeilded alternate non-dialable CID info ....
