how do i delete a dell voice account

Hi, i have a DV number but i haven't use it for a while and it was deactivated. When I try to register for a new number, it won't let me as my email address is already in use with the old number. How do i delete the old account so I can register for a new number? Thanks

log in to your old account and delete it

however I think you old account did not deactivate yet cause DV still has your email in their system

failing that you will have to call in and try and get hold of a CSR.

I concur with this analysis ... how have you found your account "deactivated"? Cannot log into the softphone or mobile app? Or unable to log into the website and access your account?

If your ACCOUNT is inaccessible on the internet, but your email address remains in use, then you are left with contacting a CSR -- either by phone or by private message to Mike/Steve/Neil on the forums here. Be advised that phone support is generally the quickest route, but has been unreliable of late, forwarding many people to the forums/web. DO NOT resort to EMAIL support as it is by far the slowest and most cumbersome. Failing phone support, like I say, PM on the forums here to one of the three main Fongo reps...
