Voicemail dialpad doesn't work on itouch4

I can get into my voicemail and get a status telling me if I have voicemail, but my dialpad doesn't work. So, I can't retrieve voicemails, exit app, etc. when I press a button, I get no sound, nor any display of the key I hit. This functionality used to work but doesn't now. I can however, still place calls with the calling dialpad

Curiously, this seems to work in Toronto but not belleville
