I created a DellVoice account a few months ago from an iPhone that I borrowed. I don't own any Apple products and don't plan to buy any so I tried to configure the account on my Blackberry, however I am getting an error "Sorry, this account was created from with an IOS device and cannot be used on any other device type due to Apple regulations. If you have switched device types, please call Fongo at 1-855-836-3355".
I tried calling that number but can't get to a live person, all I get is instructions to use the online account.
Is there any way to switch the account ? I realize I could create another account, but that means a telephone number would be wasted.

Unless you are attached to the number, log in online and delete the account (I think from memory the button is on the change password page), then open another account.
There is some strange restrictions that Apple have that ties accounts made on an iDevice to iDevices. You can keep trying to call, but as I said, if you don't need the number just delete the account and start again.

Thanks, I was hesitant to close the account for 2 reasons: I didn't know if I could re-use the same email address and also on several occasions there were no Toronto numbers available.
Luckily I was able to use the same email and the number I got is way better than the one I canceled
