Does anyone know the version number of the final dv released for android before the recent series 2 update?
(and I'm assuming there was no 1.5 - correct me if I'm wrong)

v1.4.3.525 was the last APK file I have before it went to v2.

Thanks - that was the answer I was hoping for - I have this version on an ics htc one v, not rooted, but couldn't get two apk apps I tried to save it to the phone so I could share it with another gingerbread phone - it just wouldn't save. Do you know what I could do to get 1.4x saved as an apk? I'm really having issues with version 2 being buggy on my device - and I prefer the 1.4x series anyhow.

I use an app called 'backup and restore' on my HTC. It allows you to select the APP you want to back up, and then saves it in a folder. Just keep in mind that one day they might change something and the 1.4 version might not work any more. Obviously it is not supported any more, so when it stops it stops.

Yeah hopefully they don't pull the plug on it until they've fixed the stability issues with v2.x - I've had too many instances of app freezes during a call to want to stay on the v2 bandwagon, even with the lastest 2.0214 update. Plus there's some new issues like when the proximity sensor dims the screen the android task bar is still active - you can manipulate it - which could potentially affect the call - and the call duration doesn't appear anymore in history - plus it really lags. At least now I ain't in no rush for the next fongo update, kinda like the fisher-price look too - long live 1.4!
