Hello
I have been using Freephoneline for years with my Linksys SPA922 SIP phone, and just recently I bought an ATA (Obi 110). Both the SIP phone and ATA are connected to the Router/Modem provided by Bell.
After hooking up ATA, I can make outgoings calls and receive calls from the phone connected to the ATA, however SIP phone doesnot ring on the incoming call.
When I logged in to Freephoneline portal, it just shows my ATA in connected state and not the SIP phone.
Do I need to update the configuration for both the SIP and ATA to ring simultaneously?
Or Freephoneline doesnot support this type of configuration?
Thanks in Advance!
Vik
If he plugs the phone direct to ATA device and he would receive incoming call as out going call too.
Any one has any idea why? He just cancel Bell about 2 days ago so I would say wait for awhile then see
Cannot receive incoming calls on SIP phone

Re: Cannot receive incoming calls on SIP phone
You can only have one device registered at one time. If you have two they will keep stealing the registration from each other so this is why only one rings. The reason you might be able to make outgoing calls on both is because when you make a call it will register to the sever before it places the call if it is not connected.
