I need to control the voice mail from my answering machine attached to the linksys ata. Currently the voice mail will automatically trigger if ringing more than five times,
Is there a way to completely get rid of the voice mail?
Thank you.
How can I disable the voicemail?

No, there is no way to completely remove FPL/Fongo voicemail.

Thanks tbrummell!
Though it's quite weird that a paid account cannot deactivate an unnecessary/annoying "feature"...

Re: How can I disable the voicemail?
FPL makes some money via termination charges to the calling parties carrier. Thus, to make sure the call is always answered, they send it to voicemail. It's part of their business model.

I got your point and it makes sense. I do want to answer that call too, but on my side.. not theirs.
