Hi, I have been testing the dell voice app for about a month under various circumstances. I am using it on a fairly powerful android smartphone (1.5Ghz dual core) with wifi N and LTE data connections. I find that about 30-40% of the time, the caller on the other end of the line complains about the voice quality. I have been asking them to rate it out of 10, and they usually rate it between 3 (for bad calls), 7 (average calls) to 9.5 (for very good calls). When using the same phone, OS etc, and sipdroid or csipsimple connected to voip.ms through pbxes.org (to allow a TCP connection), I always get a rating of 9 or 10 for calls under the same circumstances. To avoid having to run 2 SIP applications on the same phone and therefore impact battery life, would it be possible to adjust the fongo settings to use similar codecs (I assume G729, iLBC or speex would be appropriate) or other setting that affects this?
Thanks!

Re: Echo/Choppy Voice
Hi, did you use sipdroid or csipsimple connected to dellvoice through pbxes.org (to allow a TCP connection) to compare the voice quality?
thank you.
