Good afternoon,
I've been on FPL for several years and have always been satisfied with the service, especially with what I've paid for it ($50 ATA + $50 SIP config = awesome!)
However, recently I set up a new telephone number at another provider (VoIP.MS) and having problems CALLING that number from my FPL service. Keep in mind that We have Mobilicity, Virgin and Fido phones in the house and ALL of those can call this new number with zero issues.
When calling this number from my FPL phone, at least every four out of five times I get: "We're sorry, you have dialed a number that is disconnected or no longer in service. Please check the number you've dialed and try your call again" - again, remember that all other carriers tried do NOT have this problem, so I am definitely pointing my finger at FPL. The number being dialed can be PMd to someone as I'm sure you'll need it!
This appears to be some sort of routing issue - can someone at FPL kindly resolve this?
