Using voice mail of cordless phone

Post by Raj72 »

A quick question out there, is it possible to use the cordless phone's voice messages instead of Fongo's system's voice mail. When I had my rogers service, I did not subscribe to their voice mail so all of the messages used to get recorded into my cordless phone. Also, is it possible to use both the voice mail system? if so how to set it up.

Thanks

if you want your home voicemail system to answer the call instead of Fongo's, you just have to set the number of rings on your home system lower than it is set in your Fongo admin (that you can't log into at the moment). This way your home system will answer the call before their system has a chance to.

You can't disable their voicemail system, it is basically down to them getting as many termination charges as they can. When the answer phone picks up, they get a termination fee even if the caller did not get through to you.
