Mine seems to be working OK.

Can you call out OK? and does it show the right caller ID?

They seem to be moving a lot of stuff around of late, so maybe your account is in transition. how long as it been like this for?

Jake, can you try calling your number and see what message you get? this is happening since morning

no caller ID is displayed when getting a call since last week (but I can see it when I review on phone after hanging up the phone), outgoing calls worked for an hour but not any more.

I hope fongo will overcome all hurdles soon to preven customers look for alternatives.

I am having the same issue and this is really causing a problem. I am getting some important phone calls and they are thinking my phone has been disconnected. Can Fongo please address these issues before advertising their services to the public?

I would hang in there for a bit then. They could be working on one of the servers. The fact more people have the same problem would indicate something is on the move. I just wish Fongo would take 5 minutes to say if they are doing something or working on something rather than letting the storm blow itself out.

It's sad that they don't even have a person on call to answer the phones. I ported in last week and having issues with "this account number is not valid". In the Toronto 416xxxxxx area. I can't receive calls or dial out. If I restart the ATA, it works for 5 minutes and then goes down again.

As posted in another thread....

Go ahead and start the port out process, maybe a mass exodus would help them get their crap together out there in the KW area.

And then, a 2nd test call goes right through and shows up in the Call Logs. No sign of the 1st call in the Call Logs at all, or my Asterisk logs for that matter (obviously it was stopped at the FPL/upstream providers servers). But FPL isn't having any problems right now...... Rrrrriiiiggghhhhhtttttt. Is that what the US President calls "Plausible Deniablilty"?

Hi,
I'm having the same problem since coming back from holidays friday the 18th.

It all started after I wanted to make a call and had no dialtone. I restarted my ATA and router but it took several attempts before being able to connect to the server. After that it was OK for a while but I lost connection again. After investigation I saw that the connection from my ATA was denied. It is still the same now, loosing connection several times a day.

Now, I tried several times to call my number. Either I got directly to the voicemail or, about 50% of the times, I got the "Account Number is not valid" message.
Very weird. I DID NOT change my ATA configuration that worked for months before.
Besides, I can't even get a connection using the freephoneline software on my computer or a SIP software on my phone.

There is a problem with their system.

I will not wait for many days before switching. Having phone is important. I know it's free but if there is no service it's no good to me.

I hope tech service will answer my email.
