Number blocking
I started getting calls from a number that shows up on my phone like this:
1001
1001
It is the oddest number format I've seen. How would I block them from calling me?

Re: Number blocking
You need to find the setting to restrict calls to register sip providers only. It's probably because you have forwarded port 5060 and people are sniffing your ip for an ATA.
If you say what ATA you have, someone should be able to tell you where the setting is that will stop this.

Re: Number blocking
You need the "Allow Incoming SIP Messages from SIP Proxy Only" set to yes.ret wrote:I have a Grandstream Handytone 286

Re: Number blocking
You will probably be better off not forwarding port 5060 though. Certainly don't have your ATA in DMZ otherwise you may end up in a big mess.
I know it is easier to forward a load of things to get it working, then once it is you don't really want to change things - but you will always be better off by forwarding only the ports needed and a lot of ATAs will be OK without port 5060. Leave the RTP ports if you are having troubles with audio.
