No incoming calls

Post by poopfeast420 »

Having the same trouble as this guy: http://forum.fongo.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=8142

No ringing when I call my home number, makes it work again but I am not aware of how long it works afterwards. I looked at the manual online here: http://www.vonage.com/support/files/pdf ... rGuide.pdf like the guy from the other thread did (but with different ATA) and tried to configure it, but found nothing that I can configure.

I recently port forwarded UDP 5060-5061 and 10000-20000 like the other guy did. Maybe that would fix it, but maybe there is something else I can do?

Router: WRT120N, firmware v1.0.04
ATA: VTA-VD Vonage
Modem: SB5101N

Sorry if I am missing any information. There was no sticky detailing what I need to post. Please let me know what I should post and I'll get back to you ASAP.

After a "fix," it may take me a while to test if it is working. I suppose I'll PM someone if it stops working after a "fix."

Thank you very much. I think I missed many important calls. Might even lose my (new) job.

Hello there,

Thank you for providing all these details. Have you tried to connect the VTA-VD Vonage directly to SB5101N and test?(inbound and outbound calls)

This can probably help us to isolate where the issue is.

Let me know.

Thanks,

Hi, sorry for the late reply.

Tested outgoing and incoming calls, works fine. Port-forwarding may have fixed my issue.

I'll post here if the problem occurs again.
