How can I turn the Voicemail off?

Hi, it seems that unless you pick up a call while it rings, all other calls will eventially get to the voice messages without exception.

Since some of the messages are silent or single word like "s..t", sometimes I'd rather turn the voicemail function off, but how can I? I couldn't find any voicemail on/off settings within my account webpage.

I get those voicemails too, and it's almost always the person on the other end finally realizing that the message tone has beeped and they hang up.

Anyways. We currently do not offer the feature to turn off voice mail.

Thanks for the reply. I hope this could be optional soon, as other companies provide it as basic function.

Well, I doubt it will ever be. To keep the service free, we make money off what are called termination fee's, whenever a call is routed through our network (including voicemail and followme) we get these - Eliminating voicemail would eliminate this source of revenue.
Termination fees are the base of the telcom world - an exchange that happens between all carriers whenever calls change networks
