No audio since Feb 28th

Post by Varso01 »

My older version of freephoneline stopped working. I upgraded to the new Freephoneline Desktop Application 3.2.6.0 and it is still not working.

50% of the time when testing the connection, I get a call service timeout and a message claims my audio port 13000 should be available. The other 50%, I get the message that the call service is ok but unable to send sound data, port 13000 should be available.

for your information, my router is a Linsys WRT54G V5 running DD-WRT software
I have tried the following:
I have turned off my firewall.
I did a port range forwarding 5060-6061 UDP&TCP and 12000-13001 UDP&TCP
I also tried specific ports forwarding 5050, 6060, 13000, 13001 UDP&TCP
I have configured the desktop application to use the audio port 8030 (I also did a port forwarding for 8030)

I always get the message that the audio port should be available.

It is becoming very frustrating. Anyone has any suggestion? I can try using telnet to verify if the port is open however I do not know what computer the desktop application is pointing to... but I doubt it would be very conclusive as I suspect port 13000 is blocked at the server end.

Thanks
