hi.
I keep testing various VOIP devices.
Is the config file linked to account, or one number or both device and number. I am asking this because If I replace my Linksys 3102 with Cisco phone, will i need a new file. (keep in mind I can configure myself the devices).
and do I need config file for each number, most of the devices support two lines. (ATA 186, Linsys, 3102, Cisco ip phone)
Thanks

Re: Config File linked to account or device
The config file is linked to the account (number) and can be swapped around with as many devices as you want - Only restriction we have is that only one device may be registered at one time, with that phone number.

Re: Config File linked to account or device
How can I switch back to the original line if I register the second line accidentally? Do I have to restart my ATA?
Thanks.
Thanks.
