Cell phones in same area incur long distance fees ?

My FPL number is in HULL (819)
I have 2 cell phones in area code (613) OTTAWA
It's all local calls, but both phones, one is with Bell the other with TELUS, are saying i'm trying to call a number where long distance charges apply when i try to access my FPL number.

I think this has been addressed in a few other threads as well. This is a problem with the cell phone carriers themselves and not our services. For some reason Bell is not updating their tariff plans to allow for local calls to our numbers in all the cities we have local numbers in. The sad thing is that they won't listen to us if we phone and complain about it - we don't have a cell phone account with them, so they don't care. This is now falling on the shoulders of people who have Bell/Telus services and are experiencing this problem to phone and get them to fix this. If you keep requesting a manager, then request that a ticket be opened with the highest person you can reach, it will usually be fixed in a few hours.

The numbers you are trying to call are owned by Fibernetics, our parent company and CLEC.
