Replacing Wireless Dlink "DIR625" Router

Hi ,
I am new to this forum and don't know much about IT or new technology. I am making an effort to learn more by participating via this valuable information forum and IT gurues. My wireless DLINK router model # DIR625 is about 7 years old & still working.However, wireless internet signal upstaires in my bedroom is very weak and sometimes disconecting and connecting automatically. On the floor level wireless signal is ok. I have 2 laptop and one desktop is wirless. I have conected Jadoo box , TV and ATA with wire internet connection. I was thinking that my wireless router is old and that's
why I am not getting strong signal uperstory in my house and need to replace it with a newone. My big fear is to replace this wireless router should not make any big problem for my Freephone line service from FONGO???? Any thoughts or tips to resolve weak wireless signal on upperlevel of the house and how to replace the router.
