But i am still not able to register back to voip.freephoneline.ca.
I was able before 26 March. It went down in the 26 March 3:30p.m Easter time.
I am using the lifetime unlock code service.

STUNEnable: unchecked (disable)
ProxyServer: voip.freephoneline.ca
ProxyServerPort: 5060

OutboundProxyPort: 5060
RegistrationPeriod: 3600 (as per new requirement)
RegisterRetryInterval: 120 (as per new requirement)
X_KeepAliveMsgType: Keep-Alive

In order to resolve this, the unit will need to be rest to factory defaults and reconfigured.
To reset the unit to factory defaults:

To reconfigure device, please use the links below:

Re: Not able to register since 26 March
I have followed exactly the information you have provide.
I reset the obitalk, even reset and delete anything from obitalk website.
Then followed the guide you have provided. I still got the following error:
Register Failed: No Response From Server (server=208.65.240.44:5060; retry in 16s)
Please advise.

Re: Not able to register since 26 March
The thing that stands out there for me is the 'retry in 16s' bit.
Personally I believe that if you register, or try to re-register, too often they put your account on a timeout.
The minimum time that is on this page with regards to registration is 120 seconds. http://support.freephoneline.ca/entries ... redentials
If you are put on timeout, then it takes a while before the server will start listening to your ATA again. I am not saying that you have done anything wrong, but I would just double check the timers in your ATA referencing the page I linked to and just make sure the (overly sensitive?) sip server isn't thinking you are trying to hammer them and block you for a while.

Re: Not able to register since 26 March
As I have mentioned earlier in the first post, I actually made the modification according to the new requirement.
Then one of the moderator asked me to setup as per the links he provided. And I did it. In this guide, there is no indication to change the retry interval.
Now, I am back to initial situation. I have made all the change up to current requirement like I have mentioned in my 1st post. And i still don't able to register. I haven't received any email saying that i am blocked by the way.
Here is the new error message:
Register Failed: No Response From Server (server=208.65.240.44:5060; retry in 103s)

Are you registered with this device on the Obi website? One of the settings must be saved there on your profile and every time you reboot it will override.
http://forum.fongo.com/viewtopic.php?f= ... ter#p46104
Please check your profile and remove any settings from there.
If that's still an issue- send me a PM and I will verify account.
Thanks,

Re: Not able to register since 26 March
well in which case I would download a free sip phone (something like the x-lite, or 3cx) and see if you can connect with that. This might help show where a problem might be. If you know someone else that can try your account details with, preferably someone with a working account now.
The retry is probably set OK as now it is showing 103s. You obviously had just caught the error message a little bit before it was going to try again.

Re: Not able to register since 26 March
The problem is now resolved. The problem is on the Modem itself.
For everyone who is using DSLR and not using BELL modem router, please make sure you following the following to unlock the port from the modem
http://forum.fongo.com/viewtopic.php?f= ... 696#p46696
When you have the similar problem like me where it said registered failed in your status from your VOIP device, please make sure you use a softphone to test your account first (recommend to use X-lite as it is free).
Once you setup the account with softphone, login to your Freephoneline account and check your SIP setting, you should see that your SIP user agent is assigned to the softphone that you are using.
If that is the case, then it proofs that the account is working fine. It is either your router, VOIP device or modem which is blocking the connection.
First, following the link below to make sure your modem is not blocking the connection:
** Make sure you Telnet client is enable (Window > Control Panel > Program and features > Turn Window features on or off > Telnet client "Checked"
http://forum.fongo.com/viewtopic.php?f= ... 696#p46696
If the problem is still not resolve now, then next thing to do is the reset all the VOIP devices to factory and setup again from scratch. Reset to factory and delete any information from the VOIP devices website (like OBITALK) to avoid the information overwritten or conflict.
