Blocking Unwanted Callers and other features

Post by TSellers »

When setting up the PAP2T it seems like a lot of features are embedded in it. For example I'd like to be able to block certain numbers such as frequent telemarketers, etc., At the moment my lame Telus bundle only allows me to have 12 numbers blocked in my list.

First: Am I able to block unwanted callers? Is that done as part of the ATA?
Second: When I looked for a decent user manual for this ATA all I found was one on another VOIP provider's site but it didn't outline how to use the features. If anyone has a link that would be great.

I'll grab that link for you tomorrow, unless someone else wants to post it here ;) ...

We're actually working on an advanced features list, and a blacklist is actually one of the options we're looking at.

Thanks,

I found a number of links but most of them were configuration doc's. I did find another forum post where they were looking for the same thing, which led me to this what seems to be a pretty useful site for looking up regional settings, tones, signalling, etc:
