SIP Status Disconnected

does anyone knows what what this ( SIP status Disconnected ) my linksys PAP2 does not receive any signal anymore.
my phone does not have any dial tone at all.,

this unit use to work properly and then suddenly problem started last week
incoming no audio / outgoing audio was fine.

now the whole phone does not have any dial tone anymore , it says under my FPL account SIP status Disconnected
I spend $50 bucks for this .
anyone please help to my ( SIP status account ) to get activated again ,
just wondering whats wrong how come it was deactivated or disconnected.

How do you connect the linksys to internet? (Modem, router, etc)

Do you have a Thompson Speedtouch modem?

it is connected to the Telus Router/modem ( LAN ) , Actiontec V1000H provided by telus ISP , as I said my unit use to work before , no wiring connection problem , no changes made . I was able to use the unit both incoming and outgoing , audio works fine .

by this 3rd week of march problem show's up the audio was only one way . and now the problem was disconnected , I visit my Freephoneline.ca account is says
( SIP status: Disconnected ) ,no wonder why no dial tone and no incoming /outgoing calls can be made.

is there any way to activate it again?

Hi there,

I am assuming that you have an error with your ATA config.

Can you please ensure that your ATA is configured as per FPL standards.

wont allow me to access my ATA config anymore , I already disable my firewall but still unable to connect to Linksys adapter configuration.

not sure about an account number witch one was that is it the tel# 1604283XXXX .
tried also to access in my laptop but still unsuccessful , cannot connect

please let me know

After further investigation, the issue is with DNS, you will have to contact Telus(ISP) and get them to resolve this.
