Change Area Code

I currently have a freephoneline registered but would like to change it to
a different area code. I understand that only one number can be assigned
to an email address so I would like to know how to cancel the one number so
I can change to another area code, or exactly how to go about that.
btw I love the service.

Why don't you just create a new email account at gmail or yahoo just for this purpose.

You can delete your account by logging into FPL then clicking the 'Account Settings' (along the top tab) then there is a little link along side the current password box that allows you to delete the account.

Be warned though, you will loose everything on the account. This includes the config file (unlock key) if purchased and long distance credits.
