unclear voicemail for freephoneline

There's a big problem with my incoming voicemail. I can't understand anything that is being said; it's way too fuzzy sounding. How do I correct this error?

Hi can you please provide us more details about the current sip device box the name and model?
Now when you mean its cutting in and out (lagging)? Are you using it over Wifi, Wired or 3G?

sorry but there are no sip settings affiliated with this. I am using freephoneline (online) so no ATA or any other external hardware

i am using cable modem for my internet connection (no wi-fi)
