FPL & Cisco SPA112

Post by robchiappetta »

Hey everyone, I recently just setup FPL for a friend of mine. I setup a Cisco SPA112 ATA at her place and setup the SIP file.

She is only getting one way voice when she calls someone, as she can hear them but they cannot hear her.

Is there a certain config for the Cisco SPA112?

Any help would be appreciated
Thanks
Rob

Hi there,

i don't have that device here, however it is almost the same as PAP2T config (just different interface)

Please see below:
http://forum.fongo.com/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=310

Also, please verify that the ports are opened correctly for the IP of the SPA112 ATA on the router/modem.

UDP- 5060-5061
UDP-16384-16482

Important: Do not setup static IP on the SPA112 unless your are very confident with networking

Please try these suggestions and let me know.

Thanks,

Hi there,

Please be advised that Caller ID issue is caused by a faulty version of the Cisco firmware.

To see the details, please visit the link below(from Cisco support site):

https://supportforums.cisco.com/thread/2121676

To resolve, please proceed with a firmware upgrade for your ATA. Links to the firmware below:

http://software.cisco.com/download/rele ... ease=1.3.1

Please proceed with this suggestion for resolving the Caller ID issue,

Thanks,

Thanks, I completed the firmware update on the Cisco SPA112 and no call display is now working correctly.

I was having issues with the one way voice as well, with my Bell 2Wire modem/router, however I placed the Cisco SPA112 in the DMZ on the Bell 2Wire and all is working correctly now.

Thanks for all your help
