If texting to a non-Fongo number - can you send pictures? - (SMS) quoted above above suggests probably not.
If receiving from a non-Fongo number - can you receive pictures?

I'm not sure about receiving pictures, but you can certainly send them - sort of. My wife has sent me pictures to my Telus number in the past, and what happens is I get a http link to go and view the picture. So although it doesn't get sent to my phone, I do -kind of- get the picture.

I have tried to send pictures to her, but she never received them.
