Disable Voicemail or increase the number of rings?

Hi I have a home phone with a built in answering machine.

I have a complex system where the work number will call the home phone and if the home phone doesn't pick up the work number will go to the work voicemail.

With freephoneline, I've set the Voicemail calls to ring at the max five, but, FPL will catch the work call and send it to the FPL voicemail, which is bad as people get my home message.

Is there a way to disable Voicemail or increase the number of rings?
