Register Failed: 486 Too many requests
I have been using fpl for about a month and a half problem free until yesterday morning when i tried to make a call. my phone dialed the # paused for a sec and said that password was not valid. i checked my ata (obi100) and the phone light was not lit up. i reset the device and no change. went into my configuration removed and reinstalled deice. no change. then i noticed that beside my sp1 it says "Register Failed: 486 Too many requests". not sure what to do about this any info/help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Too many requests could mean that one of your timers is not set properly. I don't know the OBI range of ATAs, but I do know that FPL has started to block accounts that try and register too often.

Make sure you have changed something, or I suspect it will just stop again once they start monitoring how many registration attempts you are sending.asus13 wrote:my phones back working again. thanks for the help its appreciated

Re: Register Failed: 486 Too many requests
My Obi110 was giving me the same error....On the ATA's settings I changed >Service Providers>ISTP Profile X>SIP>RegistrationPeriod to a value of 3600
All is good now...no more register failed messages
