Voicemail When App Is Inactive ?

Is there a way to get voicemail if my computer isn't on, I'm using the desktop app. This is key for me, so if I have to the app always running are there any good alternatives?

You can check your voicemail remotely by calling one of these numbers http://support.fongo.com/entries/229022 ... -remotely-

Set/check what you remote password is by logging in online. Also remember when you enter your account number it is your phone number WITH the initial 1.

I mean when I call my number and the app isn't running, all i get is a busy signal when I need it to go to voicemail.
