can not register by PBX after unplugged LINKSYS PAP2-NA

Post by qizhongy »

My PBX can not register to freephoneline, however, My PBXes.org account outgoing call have no issue, but income call is not functional going directly to Voicemail after I unplugged my LINKSYS PAP2-NA ATA and using PBX only.

Using LINKSYS PAP2-NA, freephoneline was working properly.

Please let me know how to resolve the issue, thanks!

Here is copy of freephoneline SIP setting regarding the status of my registration:

Hi there,

What happens when you setup your FPL account directly on the Pap2-NA?

Do you have the same failure?
Please try and let me know.
Seems to me there are some issues with Pbxes.org- you may want to contact them and ask them to advise.

Thanks,

When I setup FPL account directly on PAP2-NA, very thing works fine, incoming outcoming, and registration shown on FPL status. THere was no failure at all.

It is a problem with how pbxes.org has things set up. A few people are having the same problems as you.

The correct way to fix this will be for pbxes.org to change some settings to make it all work again I believe.

I have the same issue here since a couple of days, I can make outbound calls, but I cannot receive calls, as the SIP status on the FreePhoneLine keeps saying DISCONNECTED. I was used to have a SIP trunk with PBXes.org.

Hi there,

Please try to setup your FPL account directly on the ATA until pbxes.org are resolving the issue at their end.

This should resolve the issue.

When you log in to Pbxes.org you can see in the address bar after www the number 1,2 or3....
This is the server you using. In order to change the server you have to click on Personal Data tab and change the time zone.
When you do that you automatically get switch to the different Pbxes server. Good luck!

For the Pbxes incoming route you have to make sure you have under Trunk name your user name which is your FPL phone number starting from 1. One day my set up of 2 years with Pbxes stoped working and It took me a while to find this out as no one doesn't inform you about the changes.
