it happened several times, both sides have FPL with ATAs, the call started normally and after several minutes, the voice is dead (no busy tone) just silent, i am not sure if the other side hear the voice mail or also silent.
can u suggest anything?

Can you confirm you are both using G729a with Preferred Codec Only set to No?
And what brands are each ATA?

it is G729 or G711 and i think both sides have use preferred codec set to No, the ATA's are spa3102, spa2102 and PAP2 preconfigured bougth from FPL

well for the calls, it was from more than a week, so i cannot remember which call exactly dropped, but if it re-happen, i'll send you
for the answer, i was not sure if it was that clear, but thank you anyway. as i told Steve before, i am like an amateur tech. support for FPL in Quebec city and even in Montreal, i configured a lot of ATAs for my friends and they call me for any problems concerning the ATAs.

I suggest anyone experiencing call drops review the following Bug Report
It includes some mitigation steps, and several of the probable causes which may affect drops.
Remember any one of the probable fixes may be the cause and all mitigating factors should be reviewed
this includes codec/device setup, hardware setup etc.
