unable to record message after forwarding to another phone

Just installed the softphone and did some tests and got a problem.
I forwarded calls to another local number. I'd like the calls to be forwarded to the voice mail when that number is not available.
I did hear the greeting message and the beep, but when I checked the voice mail, it showed no message left.
I tried many time, but it didn't work. However, the direct calls to the softphone can be recorded to the voice mail.
Did I miss anything?

I don't know what the guys down at FPL are doing, but this issue/bug is about 3+ weeks old!
