As many will know from previous posts, it seems you cannot connect to FPL network from Rogers Cell Phone network, at least not where I live in Alberta.
So the last two days I 'took one for the team' and spent hours on the phone going through all the motions to enable the problem to work it's way up the food chain to where something may be done.
After, what I'd say was about 3 hours on the second day, we seem to have a support ticket for this problem. (The first day was terminated by one of those notorious phantom dropped call problems we all seem to have).
I even tried to tell them, "My new best buddy Steve said that updated their local calling tariffs in accordance with the latest NPAC/CRTC lists may help". THey did not want to hear my suggestions, after all, who am I?
So for all of you who may also be on the same Rogers network having these problems, I hope this helps. The only other thing I can suggest is the more people that call them the better, but if you are having this problem, and you do not call, and this solves the problem, I drink Innis and Gunn!

Re: Update on Rogers Cell Network
So far nothing has happened and Rogers has not called, kind of like the girls I used to date when I was young....
So we'll wait patiently and see what happens,
In the meantime Bloodsong, if you tasted the swill that I just brewed trying to emulate the revered 'Innis and Gunn' using whiskey yeast and oak chips, I'd be sent from the Wing to somewhere near the pig's underbelly... as my grandpappy used to say as he poured his stout, 'any fool can drink crap beer or suck the hind teat and not know the difference, but you can't drain your tankard when it's in a horizontal position, ....'

Re: Update on Rogers Cell Network
So not quite two months has transpired since I opened a ticket with Rogers regarding this problem, and not suprisingly, still nothing has happened. So anyone considering signing up for Rogers should keep this in mind.
