[Bug] Android Constant WakeLock

I've emailed about this issue before and Fongo said it was passed to the development team but it's still persistent in the newest release.

This issue does not occur at all in v2.4.0.5 which I have to remain using until it's fixed in the latest versions.
The issue occurred starting with v2.4.0.7, into 2.4.0.9 and now 3.0.0.3.

My device is the Nexus 4 on 4.2.2, I've tried clearing the app data/cache and uninstall/reinstall the app and it happens all the time, you dont even have to login to Fongo, it always wakelocks.

This workaround has been introduced due to the recent bug in JB4.2.2 that doesn't allow the phone to process TCP packets when the phone is asleep:

Once this gets fixed in JB4.3, the workaround will be removed.

People in that bug tracker say the issue is fixed in 4.3, I personally have never experienced that issue on 4.2.2 (maybe because I use franco.kernel) but is it possible to release a wakelock free version only for people on 4.3 using the play store?

If I'm not mistaken 4.3 was released yesterday, AOSP, API, factory images and all are available.

The new version of the Fongo app has the fix already assuming that you are on JB 4.3

Please try to upgrade to 4.3 and test again.

I can confirm that upgrading to 4.3 fixes this problem. Fongo battery usage dropped from 60% to less than 3% immediately after installing the new version of Android
