two issues

1. When someone calls me, they cant hear it ringing, after 5 seconds of dead air he goes to voicemail.

OR

When someone calls me, they cant hear it ringing, but my home phone ring (ATA) ...

OR

no phone ring

OR

only the desktop soft phone ring

OR
everything go well both hear it ringing (1 call /4)

IF the ATA and the desktop soft phone are on, 1 of them ring and sometime none will ring ata , desktop, caller who call on my number

To answer your first question - try not to have the softphone and your ata registering at the same time or ON at the same time. Callers not hearing ringing is supposedly the fault of the way the "programmers" are routing calls this week (this is what steve one of the admins has said).

In regards to the second part of your question - NO ONE knows whats happening and thats the funny part. I have the same issue, it's so bad that I can't even use the lines. I even tried with two different PAP2 devices at two different locations with different connections with the same result.

Until 3-4 weeks ago I was recommending the FPL service with the ATA config file to everyone I know but now, with this problem of choppy voice everyone is coming to me for their problems and blaming me, this teaches me a lesson.
