When i call some one it comes up as private name and number
checked setting in my account, have set to show can you help with this please.

try dialling *98. It depends on your ATA though.

*82 is another one, isn't it? CallerID works properly for other calls they receive, right?
Can you tell us more about your setup - what software/softphone/hardware/router/etc are you using? There are lots of possibilities but let's start here...

did u get it working???
just check caller id activation code ("CID Act Code:") in the regional tab, in my box it is *65
or even easy, in the user1 tab, just turn "Block CID Setting:" "No", "CID Setting:" "Yes"
and "CWCID Setting: Yes"
