Re: Can't accept incoming calls? No incoming pop-up?
Can anyone assist? Still no luck at all, running XP with SP3 and Java 6 update 16, the old version worked no problem but this new version, tried everything, reinstalling app, java, no luck at all. I can call out, but when I get a call, the app makes a ring noise, but no pop up indicating someone is calling, and nothing shows on the caller ID and if I click Connect it doesn't answer. Help!

skurys, can you make sure your $PATH is set up correctly in your machine? If not, make sure you do so, it definitely sounds like a JVM error.

Re: Can't accept incoming calls? No incoming pop-up?
I have a path in user that is set to "C:\Program Files\FreePhoneLine\native\Xuggle\bin\" and theres a XUGGLE_HOME set to "C:\Program Files\FreePhoneLine\native\Xuggle\"
Also in System Variables there is a path, it is set to %SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%;%SystemRoot%\system32\wbem;C:\Program Files\NVIDIA Corporation\PhysX\Common
I followed your link, and added to the user path, so it now is set to this:
C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin;C:\Program Files\FreePhoneLine\native\Xuggle\bin\
Still no dice....
I also tried in a pristine virtual machine with the java version that comes with the installer, doesn't work either.
I have a Tomato firmware- router (WRT54GL) but I'd be surprised if it was that as the app rings, so it is clearly getting the message that theres an incoming call. And if I call out, there is sound transmitting both ways no problem... I am at a loss...

I believe Xuggle is used for the video that plays left of the dial pad, try removing it from the $PATH string:
Additionally, it should be the system $PATH which is set to \jre6\bin, not user.
Code: Select all
C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin

Re: Can't accept incoming calls? No incoming pop-up?
Here's other point that even further boggles my mind.... I had a virtual machine with 2.2.3 version installed. I have not used this is awhile, and last time I did it worked perfect. I loaded it up and what do you know, same problem, incoming call rings in the software but no popup! I am starting to think there may be something set wrong with my account....

Re: Can't accept incoming calls? No incoming pop-up?
I'm having a similar issue. If an unknown number calls (which I have confirmed by *67ing my number, and that voicemail sent to my e-mail in these instances comes from #unknown), FPL rings but gives no other indication of an incoming call. There is no Accept/Reject popup; clicking the Connect button on the dial-pad does nothing.
