Yup -- you've come to the right place. Usual way to do this is to note it here, follow up with our captive resident FPL contact/go-to-guy (FPL-Steve) and complain to him. PM'ing him with the relevant information works best ... I have taken the liberty of doing that for you. Information to include is such as this (start with what you did, the NPA-NXX, that it is Calgary ... and....)

587-891 Calgary, AB -- ROGERS WIRELESS (they are the ones that 'own' that block of numbers, and assign it to S/O W/L).

Verified via ratelookup tool that it is a charged ($0.02/min) call -- http://www.freephoneline.ca/ldServices#rl
Verified via CNAC the ownership/ratecentre of it -- http://www.cnac.ca/data/ac587.htm

And then politely ask: Steve -- can you please look into this as a mis-tariff and do your best to get it corrected please? Thank you!

It's about that simple.

You'll notice that usually Jake and myself will be all over these kinds of issues as well, verifying and what nots. Once Steve (the official person who gets them fixed!) gets his teeth sunk into the problem, the resolution is generally very quick in these cases.

The reason it happens is that new exchanges/CO-codes are always being added, and even though FPL is supposed to auto-update their tariff (system which determines FREE/cost for calls), things sometimes get missed, and their system was just recently transitioned -- there are a few wrinkles left in the system and you just found one of them! :-) Steve wields the big industrial steam-press that flattens them out.... ;-)

It's all on Steve's shoulders--- thank him -- You presented the problem, I reformatted it a bit and forwarded it on to Steve.
