A hearty Hardy welcome to all the new mods ....
first question (for Sami & Amit): does that include the FPL desktop app, and when can we expect a fixed version beyond 3.0.3.0 which corrects the well known and troublesome issues?

As per Mike's earlier post today re:recurring vm msgs, even if the update is "No fix, but we continue to work on it", it is comforting and nice to know that stuff remains on the front-burner and has not fallen off the radar ... that said, FIXES with updates are better than just updates, but updates at least keep the masses placated!

Re: Please welcome the following new moderators
So is T-3 the "top echelon" of the support team? I am unsure of the titles there. Would that make you (and the other T-3's) something in line with a "shift supervisor" of the support team, say 2-notches above a "lowly" frontline call-taker?FONGO_neil wrote:Absolutely, I am part of the tier 3 escalation team at Fongo(same as FONGO_mike, and the rest of the new forum mods), I specialize in call routing and anything related to Dell Voice. Insofar as call routing, does that just encompass how the calls are sent to termination? Or?

On the support side of things yes we are the "top echelon". And yes you are correct, how calls route through our network to the terminating or destination end of the call.TheHardy wrote:So is T-3 the "top echelon" of the support team? Excellent to know ... I have posted in the "why isn't 587-xxx free" thread regarding a tariff question that has been plaguing us for a while ... I won't rehash it here, but it has to do with local calling areas of NON-DID cities to which Fongo offers FREE calling ...FONGO_neil wrote:On the support side of things yes we are the "top echelon". Seeing as you would be the termination guru, I think I may have this one double-parked right up your alley (hey, I didn't mean that to sound dirty) ...

Welcome fellow Fongoers! Glad to see an already healthy support area get new blood
Here is a fun question for everyone: What is your favourite NPA-NXX? Why?
I like the repeating digit ones, like 226-336 or 226-339, they just are fun to look at
