A hearty Hardy welcome to all the new mods ....

first question (for Sami & Amit): does that include the FPL desktop app, and when can we expect a fixed version beyond 3.0.3.0 which corrects the well known and troublesome issues?

What is your specialty/department at Fongo? How long have you been with them? That sort of thing --- feel free to share (or not) anything personal too, such as interests etc in case we run out of Fongo stuff to chat about! ;-)

WB Dom ... were you able to reset your own pw or did you have to ESCALATE it? ;-) Glad to see that there will be a few more official ppl in the channel to take the load off of Mike and Steve, and perhaps get some more timely info out to those that participate here.

As per Mike's earlier post today re:recurring vm msgs, even if the update is "No fix, but we continue to work on it", it is comforting and nice to know that stuff remains on the front-burner and has not fallen off the radar ... that said, FIXES with updates are better than just updates, but updates at least keep the masses placated!

Absolutely, I am part of the tier 3 escalation team at Fongo(same as FONGO_mike, and the rest of the new forum mods), I specialize in call routing and anything related to Dell Voice. I have been working at Fongo for 2 1/2 years. Like most guys I am into sports and video games ;) I look forward to getting to know all of you.

So is T-3 the "top echelon" of the support team? I am unsure of the titles there. Would that make you (and the other T-3's) something in line with a "shift supervisor" of the support team, say 2-notches above a "lowly" frontline call-taker?

Insofar as call routing, does that just encompass how the calls are sent to termination? Or?

On the support side of things yes we are the "top echelon". And yes you are correct, how calls route through our network to the terminating or destination end of the call.

Excellent to know ... I have posted in the "why isn't 587-xxx free" thread regarding a tariff question that has been plaguing us for a while ... I won't rehash it here, but it has to do with local calling areas of NON-DID cities to which Fongo offers FREE calling ...

Seeing as you would be the termination guru, I think I may have this one double-parked right up your alley (hey, I didn't mean that to sound dirty) ... ;)

Welcome fellow Fongoers! Glad to see an already healthy support area get new blood :D

Here is a fun question for everyone: What is your favourite NPA-NXX? Why?

I like the repeating digit ones, like 226-336 or 226-339, they just are fun to look at :)

Relatively "fresh meat" from the big re-branding and launch of DV! Welcome aboard to the forums, and congrats on 120 days at Fongo!! :-)

Not too sure that we will fire a lot of questions directly to your area of specialization, but I am sure we can keep you busy with the rest of our stuff! :-)

Stay on topic and not abuse each other, yes, but 'behave' is also part of 'MISbehave' ...

Hopefully it just means more timely responses, deeper insight and more FONGO participation in general! ;)
